The long delayed site arrives!

Okay, so here it is, a work in progress, but nonetheless, my website! Yay!

I have been wanting to put up a website to show my art for a while... and have been delaying doing so, despite the encouragement/egging on from my wonderful husband. I have this bad habit that when I am reading a book,
especially one that I am really enjoying, I tend to get about three-quarters of the way through, and then put it down for a while... because I don’t want the book to end. So it seems I have done the same thing with this site... for somewhat similar reasons. I really like the idea of having a place to show my art... and add my thoughts to said site. But if this site, well... stinks, than I may have to loose that thought of,”Oh, that sounds like something I’d like to do.” I’ve got the art to show, and plan to keep that going, but I never have been confident if I really have anything interesting to say.

So... long has my poor site sat on my computer, slowly getting changes made to it, and things added here and there... waiting for the day when it can go out and see the world! Honestly, just waiting for decisiveness to intersect in my head with, “Its close enough to being done.” Glad to make it! Haha! I’ll be making my art even if I were the only one looking at it, so why not apply the same principal to this site?

Oh yeah, despite the way this first entry sounds, I’m not the self-depricating artist type... really.

So, feel free to browse this mostly complete place... learn a bit about me on the...uh,
about me page, (hey hey, clever title for that page, no?)... and definitely check out the gallery. I’ve got a lot more paintings in my head, and also some old prints to still toss up there, so hopefully more will be added soon!

I also plan on having a page of random links and fun stuff I enjoy (because who doesn’t enjoy fun stuff?
You certainly seem like a person who enjoys fun stuff!). But, until that is up, check out the husband & friends, entrenched in beloved media, at ProfessionalProcrastinators.com, and be sure to follow me on twitter for updates @console2canvas. Don’t miss a single thing! Something AWESOME could happen! We’ll see.
